Example of how to work out your score
Say you scored a "B-" for MILK and a "C" for MEAT.
That would mean you get a score of 6 for MILK and 4
for MEAT. Continue through all the other things, noting
down your score (or entering them into a calculator if you don't like adding in
your head). You should end up with 13 numbers (if you had a score for only one
of each type of product). If you only bought, say, 9 different types of thing,
that doesn't matter at all. Nor does it matter if you bought several items of
one product type. All you have to do now is add up the number of numbers
and then add up all the list. Maybe you ended up with a list of 12 numbers which
add up to 84 points. Now all you do is divide 84 by 12 to get the average. And
that's (erm... just a minute while I think) 7. Your average is 7. That means your
overall score is a B in the table. Click the B and see how you did! That's all.
Not too bad was it. Math can be fun... well, sort of.
